About Laura Goodwin (AKA ToolPackinMama): I am a writer, computer geek, and sexual rights activist. I have been online since 1993, and started participating in the TREK NGs soon after. I am a passionate Star Trek fan since the original show was new - but I never got as deeply involved with later Treks as I am with the original one, perhaps because I generally don't do much TV.
I have an adult humor TOS parody site, All Your Trek Are Belong To Us, and I moderate a TREK sex/humor email discussion list, TOS-Up.
I love Firefly and I LOVED THE FIREFLY MOVIE! I saw it three times, already! I'll buy it on DVD!
FYI: I'm happily married, and I have 3 kids, one grandkid, six goldfish, and two dogs.

About NelsonŠ: I'm a dedicated Trekker and I even like Enterprise fairly well. I'm an all-around SciFi fan, being raised up on the orginal Star Trek and good stuff like Invasion:UFO and Space1999. I also write my own Science Fiction, and there's lots of stuff about it on my website. I don't write FanFic, since I'm uncomfortable working with other people's characters.
My web site.

About Wouter Valentijn: Let me say first that I've not seen FireFly yet but I've been reading some good things about it. When it comes to our shores (The Netherlands) I will surely give it a try. Joss Whedon is behind it, and I consider him to be the best creator of television fun since Gene Roddenberry. This makes me of course a fan of Star Trek (TOS, TNG, DS9) and Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel. Other genre shows that I've enjoyed recently are Smallville, Farscape and Stargate SG-I. To name a few. Please visit my web site.

About Tan Coul: Avidly following Firefly from the UK via SVCD downloads, and spreading the word across
the pond about the best thing to surface on US TV since Buffy. Visit my web page.

About Poppa Tom: Former Cannon Cocker from the Persian Gulf Yacht Club and now another slighly bemused expat in the Great White North. Been a scifiction fan for ever. Love B5, Andromeda and now, Firefly.
Currently a frontline worker in Canada's poorest neighbourhood and the occasional Cassandra.
FYI: Kaylee is the ultimate gearhead superbabe.

About Jaime M. de Castellvi: Got started on TOS during my youth like Mamma --guess that dates me--, moved happily on to TNG. Love Star Wars too. Discovered B5 and the internet at the same time, and so took my first step into a much larger universe. I follow much of the genre on teevee, at the movies, and on the printed page as time allows me. Loved Buffy, loved Angel, can't get over how utterly addicted to such a whacky show as Firefly I've become.
On Usenet I'm hardly ever serious about anything, which leads some folks to figure me out for a troll. I just have very weird, twisted, sick humour. Some people are confused because I'm both a Spaniard and a Canadian currently residing in the good 'ol US of A, but that's the easy part.
I have a deep suspicion that I might have been a horse in a previous life, but I couldn't tell you whether I happened to be the very same horse who totalled Catherine the Great. I would hope not, but then again, it would be kinda cool.
Current hobbies include writing, literature, some sports (as in *doing*, not *watching*), teevee, Usenet, being totally childish with my ferrets and cats, an occasional bout of fornication, and taking long and pleasant craps with something nice to read in hand. Oh, and meditating and the spiritual thing thingie.

About Fallis Maximus : Those bastards! They killed Serenity!
FYI: I'm gonna miss that show!

About Jonathan : I am a libertarian (small 'l') networking nerd (Cisco mostly...) with a love for Star Trek (not Enterprise), and a fetishistic fascination with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly... I also cannot get enough of Stargate SG-1... (yes, Jack did father a child(ren?) with Laira in A Hundred Days)Yes, I have sent my postcards to UPN and my affiliate... I am originally from NYC, spent some time in Germany (care of the US Army) and now hail from the Western Burbs of Chicago...

About G-Man: Really ticked that Firefly is getting axed.....

About LurkingHorror: I only exist in this reality on the internet. I have a corporal form, but it is constructed in non-euclidean geometries, and cannot be viewed by carbon-based life forms without instantly driving them MAD. Attracted by the extremely realistic vision of the future shown by Firefly, and an utterly curious fascination for humanity as portrayed on this matrix, I now linger on, trying to discover other hints and insights of this charming 'verse.
FYI: It's ALL true. No, REALLY.

About Lori: Webmaster of Firefly@scifispace.com.
I'm a web developer (see link for my Firefly section) and long time fan, convention organizer, and all around nerd :)

About Beth Smarr: A science fiction/fantasy fan for four-fifths of my life, I try to inject SF into my high school teaching, doing a Frankenstein unit with my seniors and an overview science-fiction/fantasy unit with my freshmen. Firefly is simply the best science fiction to arrive on tv in too many years to count. The interaction of the characters and the character development so far makes me long for, in order, the DVD release, the movie, and the return of the series to either the tv or the multiplex. The people in this group represent the intelligensia of science fiction - really - and reading and participating in the list is a joy.
Visit my web site.

About FelliniNights: Big, mean, and ugly. Irish-American poet, writer, and sports freak, sometimes drunk, often times alone, usually listening to Marillion or some other obscure British band...Trapped in the paradise that is Wisconsin, near the capitol city of said state.
Far too educated (two BAs, one MA), far too underemployed (I work in a damn paint store and I substitute teach), and constantly looking for a better job--if you have any, let me know. I'm so willing to relocate to the south or west, it's sad.
Married, two cats, one truck, several guitars...
Rolling Rocks or Killian's Red...Turkey sandwiches.
FYI: C'est la vie, have your leaves all turned to brown? Will you scatter them around you, C'est la vie?

About Catnammeddude: I am, and always have been, a geek. As a young Black American kid I grew up dreaming of the idealistic world of Star Trek. Now a man in my 40s, I think the future will be more like Firefly...if we figure out faster than light travel...and if we don't blow ourselves up first. I loved Firefly. One of the best Sci-Fi shows to come along in a good while. Here's hoping for a "SHINY" return.
FYI: The best science fiction is about us humans!

About Forge: The Dread Pirate Forge is a lover, not a fighter... well, okay, he can defend himself if needs be. He's the sheepdog over a workgroup full of Mac computers at a large corporation in South Florida. He lives with his extremely hot Venezuelan girlfriend of three years and is loving every minute of it. In his spare time (HAAH!) he watches Law & Order reruns, reads Neal Stephenson and Neil Gaiman, searches for good places to eat and a nice bottle of wine, and waits patiently for the premiere date of "Serenity."
If you need a Geek, visit my web site.

About John Campbell Rees: I am along time science fiction fan, since my Mother set up my high chair infront of "Star Trek" TOS and "Doctor Who" so she could watch them whilst feeding me as a baby. (So its all her fault). "Babylon 5","Buffy", "Angel" and "Firefly" filled a large diamond shaped hole in my life left when the BBC cancelled "Doctor Who". (God, it is so good that it is coming back.
I am a huge bookworm, so my job in a library is probably the best job I could have.
I love "Firefly" because it is so uncompromising. It is a show about people in Space, not about the Space ship. It has great dialogue, great acting, and a setting that is so very believeable. (Why did FOX cancel it, same grade of stupidity that cancelled "Doctor Who" back in 1989).
Also Kaywinnet Lee Frye is so very, very shuai. (cute)
Roll on the Firefly Movie "Serenity"
FYI: My computer is an IyonixPC 32bit RISC OS 5.05. May I never have to own a Windross PC. Here's my web site.

About gently27: I don't think I'm your average sci-fi fan. Sure I've enjoyed some pretty lame sci-fi movies/tv shows as a kid, but lately....well they've just been empty. example: Chronicles of Riddick. I became a Joss/BTVS fan after reading two reviews from the SF Chronicle and a local paper, raving about the show - every Tuesday night since has been buffy night - much to the bemusemnt of my room mate. I never got a chance to catch firefly while on air - did Netflix then bought the DVD - and subsequently missed the best show on television in the past three years (prior to that it was Sports Night).
FYI: I'm 32, single, work as a MIS Manager and like to read non-fiction - The Science of Good and Evil - check it out... My web site, www.hey-huh.com.

About whodunit: I'm a SAHM to 5 y/o miracle child Maya Grace, and furcats Moose and Pebbles (feral from a dairy farm in east Texas); retired elementary school 'marm' :-) after almost 20 years teaching. Love arts, crafts, scrapbooking, making website pages, etc. Does living down the road from Southfork Ranch make me a real cowgirl? ;-) Where do I pick up my honorary browncoat now?

About E. Brent Price: Geez, now I feel like the new kid. I don't know when I started posting, but it can't be a year. Some off the wall comment on the BSG group got me curious, so I asked basicly hey, I heard this is good and something I might like, so what think? They said yeah, it's good. Check it out and get the DVD set. The DVD set? Wait, don't I remember this from a few years ago? I must have been drunk because I remember this Alien Mutant going Grrr Argh. Yeah, that's the one. Hmmm.
Then my ex-SO but still friends started going on about it. I charged my son and his SO to get me the DVD set for my birthday surprise which I got last August 22. I ain't been quite the same since, big fan as I am of bluegrass,Westerns and Sci Fi. Finally Serenity came out and I had a place to wear my Western outfit without feeling stupid, and my son got a cunning hat for the occasion. I'll post pictures of that on my crummy website soon as I use up this roll of film.
I'm 56, an old hippy still, forged by high school at a Quaker boarding school. I was an EMT with the local ambulance service for 15 years but now retired after I got hurt. Since my wife died, I've raised my then 10 yr old son now out of the Army and a nurse like his mother before. It's been a struggle to keep meaning in my everyday existence, but every once in a while something like Firefly comes along to perk me up.
FYI: I am a whore for the mid 90's Caprice 9c1 LT1 Police Interceptor.

About Jacey: Unashamed firefly fan and SF writer, I actually make my living as a singer with Artisan (1985 - 2005) and the Brian Bedford Band (2006 onwards), and as a UK booking agent for great folk artists from the USA, Canada and Australia. I live in Yorkshire, England, in a little village on the edge of the Pennines with my husband and an ever changing bunch of touring musicians. Here's my web site.

About C.O.Jones: I am an angry and mean old man. My name is a joke, and ignore that man behind the curtain. There are other voices in my head, so don't be concerned. Firefly was an idea I had as a child, except Serenity wasn't called that, and was a worn-out Trans World Spaceways spaceship (from Disneyland). And, of course, the actual crew was pretty much not thought out. ...and there were CASTLES! No, REALLY!
FYI: Ignore that man behind the curtain! No, wait, I already said that!

About Captain Nerd:
I am a middle-aged teenager, unabashed fan of good fiction (science or otherwise), current computer geek, but long-time science/language/literature/sociology nerd. Politically inactive (just so damn tired of it all) but conservative/libertarian, unapologetic conservative Christian. I'm also a committed Groucho Marxist (well, I was committed but I keep escaping) and unabashed lover of the absurd. And a Big Damn Firefly fan! Visit my web site.
FYI: I have a filter on incoming email, to bypass the filter put "TO_CAP" somewhere in the subject.

About Hel: Hi I'm hel(en). I am a long time fan of Buffy and Angel and eagerly awaited Firefly, only to have it axed before I got to see it (officially anyway as I'm in the UK). My best Firefly/Serenity experience was meeting Joss and the BDH at the Edinburgh Film Festival Serenity premiere.

About Christine Marie: I'm a computer geek, singer, bookworm, comics geek. Sometime adventure game fan,
though not so much lately. A huge fan of Joss Whedon's shows - it's completely his fault that I even own a television. I bought one for Buffy. I love Firefly fiercely, and am extremely unhappy about the current state of affairs.

About Laz: My cyber life began some time around 1981 when I logged onto my first electronic bulletin board. I've been Laz or Lazarus pretty much ever since. Got on the Internet in '94 and haven't bothered with BBS systems much since then. Created alt.tv.firefly in 2002, shortly after the premiere episode.
FYI: In real life I'm a construction worker.

About John I: I have
horns.
FYI: Look behind you!

About Zombie Elvis , AKA Roberto Castillo:
Web site.
FYI: Provider of the episode summaries found here (link below).

About Justine: I'm a 21 year old student and activist. I've been participating in queer/tranny/anti-racist activism for more than 2 years. I started watching firefly because of the Buffy connection. I've written a few papers on Buffy as both a cyborg and a feminist icon. Someday they'll be online for you to read. Website link.
FYI: I am the cheese man when the lights go out.

About Beryllium: Umm ... I'm a computer geek. I like Firefly.
Other favourite shows include Vengeance Unlimited, The Lone Gunmen, Enterprise, Quantum Leap, The A-Team, and many more.
I run a web site, and I go to college. I live in BC, Canada.
I thought Firefly was cool because it had an actor from The X-Files on it. (Jayne :)

About Ernest Rodriguez AKA
mr who: Well, ToolPackinMama asked me nicely to put my profile on this page, and I like nice people, so here it is. I am from McKinney, TX and I like to delete spam from my mail box all day long. Just out of curiosity, I got a hold of the unaired pilot episode and got hooked on Firefly. I totally enjoy every aspect of the show and hope to see many more episodes. My favorite character is Jayne. He is good for a laugh in any situation. Especially when he is being himself.
Keep flying, mr who.

About NightBaron: I'm a fan of Buffy, Angel and Firefly, fantasy literature and japanese animation.
I'm also a fantastic lover. Well, that's what I tell people anyway. I don't know why they laugh.

About Eric Paslick :
FYI: In real life I'm an Aviation Maintenance Technician (I'm an airplane mechanic).

About CommodoreLXIV: I am a 35 year old counselor. I love Firefly, it has (I refuse to say "had") become an event on Friday nights to watch Firefly with my daughter. As for how long I have been online, and in reference to my name, I was recently horrified to discover that Qlink changed its name and became American Online... "Oh the humanity! all of Neptune's great ocean could not wash the blood from these hands, I have become death the destroyer of worlds" (my apologies to anyone who actually likes AOL)
FYI: I can be contacted as CommodoreLXIV on AIM

About LyndaNP: I am a big fan of Firefly. Have been from the beginning.
I am a Nurse Practitioner in Chapel Hill, NC. Favorite shows are Buffy, Angel, Charmed, John Doe, CSI, CSI Maimi, Without a Trace, Monk,
and all the Law and Order shows. The best show for me was Northern Exposure.

About Travis C. Hudson: For many years, I lived in Missoula, Montana...now I'm in Steubenville, Ohio, birthplace of Dean Martin, Traci Lords, and me!
Visit my web page.

About Maystone: I've been a scifi geek since I was a kid waaaaay back in the olden days; for some reason it always surprised people that a girl would be into scifi. Huh. I've loved ST in some of its incarnations (TOS, NG, DS9), devoted myself to B5, enjoyed Andromeda in S1 and S2, adored Fascape with all my being - but I am a stone-cold freak for Firefly. It's not only the best scifi around, it's the best damn story I've seen. Joss (who is the god of my idolatry [Buffy! Angel!!])was inspired when he came up with the idea for this show.
Been around usenet for ages it seems, in the old Highlander and B5 groups. Now I'm mostly hanging out at a yahoo group called still_flying. Check us out; very friendly, funny crowd. Also a regular at Television Without Pity, even though they tore down our forum and consigned us to a mere thread in the SciFi section. Good folk over there, too.
I write fanfiction for Firefly only. They say I sometimes channel Mal :) The stories are at Firefly's Glow and fanfiction.net if you're curious to check them out.
No web page yet, but I'm working on it.

About Krawhitham: Received my first computer in 1978, started by own BBS in 1988, I've been on the internet long before WWW. I currently do Millwright work, and website design on the side. I running 18 different websites, and have designed over 150. My favorite TV shows are; Firefly, Stargate, JOA, and Jeremiah. I like the Treks shows but it is not a must see for me.
I'm not a big Joss fan, as in I do not like Buffy or angel. But in the same breath I will also say Firefly was one of the best TV shows I've every seen.
In my spare time what little I have, I use video recording my son and converting it to DVDs. You will never be able to say I missed him growing up. At age 6 he has a 120 DVD disc collection devoted to him. I figure this is something I will only be able to witness once in my life so I want to be able to replay it in my old age so I can embarrass him to death when he brings a girl over.

About
Matthew Goldman: I'm the Unix systems administrator for a small Australian company located in Minneapolis. In my spare time I play role playing games (online and face-to-face) I'm also a fan of Stargate SG1, and Babylon-5, and I collect Anime.
Here's my web site.

About The Babaloughesian: 20-year-old black male nihilist with a profound case of internet addiction and plenty other disorders where that came from. Interests include compulsively posting to Usenet, reading comic books, drawing/downloading erotic art, reading about psychology & self help. Given my complete lack of compunctions about downloading copyrighted material, the fact that Firefly is the only TV show ever whose DVD set I have actually paid money to own might say something about it. Not entirely sure whether/how I fit into fandom/the human race.
FYI: Favorite character is Jayne, at least as long as he's relatively amoral. If the writers take that away from him, then the title defaults to Niska or Early. But not Badger. Badger's a wimp.

About Linde Dunn: Artist, poet, writer, all done in sporadic bursts but far too rarely. 40-something going on 14, Canadian new-age, old-age pagan-ish agnostic. I have blue eyes but the rest changes far too readily to be described definitively. Big damn Firefly fan - obsessed, really. Other vid-obsessions, LOTR, Andromeda (early shows), Northern Exposure, anything intelligent. Top 3%. Sense of humour very internal (not expressed to just anyone) - nothing sacred - make fun of everything, everyone indiscriminately but with great affection for the foibles and quirks of man- and woman-kind. A little mad but only in a quirky, eccentric way - really. I'm harmless - really. Two by two, hands of blue.
FYI: It's a mad, mad, mad, mad world.

About Rocky Frisco: I'm the pianist with the JJ Cale Band and the Tom Skinner Wednesday Night Science Project, a pilot, photographer and writer of Science Fiction. My hobby is restoring and driving old English Sports Cars, specializing in MGs and Mini Coopers. My favorite authors are Terry Pratchett, Dave Barry, Jack Vance, Neil Gaiman, Michael Bishop and Iain M. Banks. I like to listen to music by JJ Cale (of course), Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Yes, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Red Dirt Rangers and Altan. I'm a vegetarian libertarian. I first heard about Firefly on a libertarian yahoo group (I don't watch broadcast television), bought the DVD set and became a serious fan of the series and now the BDM. Here's my web site.

About George W. Harris: I've been following Firefly since day one, and have introduced ~ a dozen people to the series via the DVDs. You generally won't find me arguing over the minutia of the Firefly 'verse tech and science because, frankly, it's unimportant to the series - it's the characters that matter. Also a big fan of Buffy, and, to a lesser extent, Angel.

About Miki/bek: Too old to be enjoying such things as Firefly. But, I guess age has nothing to do with what you like, esp. since I have been a fan of Sci-Fi for many years.
I am retired, and do a lot of reading, and playing on my computer. I get on newsgroups occasionally, and wanted to see more information about Firefly so I looked this group up.
My former passion is/was Ballet.
My former TV passion was/is Stargate and STA. I also love B5, Never got really heavy into the ST9 series.
FYI: Even old 'arts can enjoy good Sci Fi!

About Acker Dackerly: Hello, Ack here. I am a science fiction literature/TV and movie fan. I work on the outer fringes of the the Evil Empire we call Fox -- as a Broadcast Engineer at a Fox Owned and Operated TV station. I also dabble in offroading and computer programming.
I own the DVD set, seen the movie 4 times so far (two in preview screenings) and operate the website, http://www.blue-sun.us. There you can find some cool stuff including a MP3 of the ending credits music from the Fox Firefly Promotions CD and some of Lurkinghorror's graphic works. My Homepage: http://www.ackerdackerly.com
FYI: My favorite author is Alan Dean Foster (of Pip and Flinx fame).

About Andy: 38 y.o. hardware store monkey, all-around geek, sci-fi fan since I learned to read. The coup de grace was seeing Star Wars in a theater in IA in 1977.
Took a 8+ year near sabbatical from television and movies (read a LOT), and have spent the last couple of years finding what I missed. It was mostly the same old sludge until I found Firefly (and then BSG). I'm hooked and I'm unashamed :)
Gems in the rough...

About Cindi: I am a 47 yr old Firefly fan. Totally love the show - love the BDM and am eagerly awaiting BDM II. Still spreading the word -to anyone who will listen... can't stop the signal!
